HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM WOODSTACK RECORDS!!!!

On the morning of December 13th, 2009, the day of the 16th annual Scene Magazine Battle of the Bands, The Seers drummer, Ryan Gray, called in sick.   Tyler Lindgren, a music composition and music performance double major at CSU, was able to pinch hit for the Seers.   Tyler was able to show up literally 10 minutes before the Seers set.   Guitarist Sean Waters had met Tyler and jammed with him at a house party about two weeks prior; Tyler had never heard ANY of the Seers music.

Needless to say, Tyler and the rest of the Seers KICKED ASS.  They got second in the stiff competition of ten great local bands.   They won a day of recording at MorningWood Studio in Fort Collins.   They will be recording an EP or a full length album…. we’ll see how it all goes.  We’re real stoked for them!!! Great things happening to the WoodStack Records community in 2010!!!
